FUNCTION IN THE WORD
Daily Devotional
“So mightily grew the word of God and prevailed.” Acts 19:20 (KJV) Beloved, I challenge you today to embrace the word of God. The word of God is your food. Man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeded from the mouth of God. Ensure that you live in the word of God. The word of God will show you God’s purpose in your life. It will show you God’s will. It will show you how to navigate yourself here on earth. Read it. Have a reading plan and follow it. You can stuff yourself on the word of God. Your success in life depends on you; it does not depend on God. You can monitor your success by the things you do. You can predict it. Success is predictable, just as failure is predictable. Show me what you do with your time, and I will tell you your end. Show me what you are gravitating towards, and I will tell how far you will go. Psalms 1:1–3 (KJV) says, “Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.” You have to make the word of God your companion. When Jesus was tempted by the devil, it was the word of God in His spirit and in His mouth that gave Him victory. The enemy knows the word, and he knows how to manipulate the word to put you in a fix. Therefore, you should study the word. As you stay in the word, you will receive divine instruction and supernatural insight that will accelerate your success and give you outstanding testimonies in Jesus name. This is your day. Go and win in your marketplace. I bless you today. Further Reading: Romans 10:6–15, 1 Peter 1:23 Daily Bible Reading: Morning—Ezekiel 47–48; Evening—1 John 3 Spread the Word, Share!
