 THE WAY OF DEDICATION    OVERVIEW SCRIPTURE:
 This people have I formed for myself; they shall shew forth my praise. Isaiah 43:21  THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Dedication is living to hate what God hates and love what God loves.   To be dedicated to God means living to give God pleasure and satisfaction with one’s life. From our anchor scripture, we see that God created us to show forth His praise through the way we live.  Dedication is living to hate what God hates and to love what God loves. You cannot find a dedicated person where God is not found. In Genesis 39:9, when Joseph was tempted by Potiphar’s wife, he ran away, saying ‘…how then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?’  A dedicated life is a life that considers the feelings of God in all things. In other words, a dedicated person lives in the fear of God.   A dedicated person will ask questions like, ‘Is God okay with what I am about to do?’ Such a person also lives in full manifestation of the character and conduct of the Kingdom of God. You do not need to be told that he is a Christian when you see him because, ‘…by their fruits, ye shall know them.’ (Matthew 7:20).  Receive the grace to live a life that is fully dedicated to God in Jesus’ Name.  Remember this: Dedication is living to hate what God hates and love what God loves.  ASSIGNMENTS: 1. Let God take the first place in your life. 2. Make sure that God always has the final say in your life.  PRAYER: O LORD, I refuse to live an undedicated life.
